Chicago weekend

I was in Chicago the past few days on vacation and had such a good time. I got to see a lot of friends that I have not gotten to spend time with in far too long and I got to explore the city much more in depth even though I’ve been there numerous times before. What follows is a collection of photos from my iPhone. I was always skeptical of the Hipstamatic app..until I got it. When it comes down to it, it is just another tool to make images. And above all else, it’s just fun. Thanks for looking.

I was fortunate enough to take a week off of work in October to go home to my parents and spend time with them and my mom’s brother and sister. They flew out from Utah and California and it was the first time that we have all been together since my grandfather’s funeral six years ago. My brother also made it up from Columbus for a couple nights as well. We had a great time going apple picking, hiking, drinking and just spending time together. What follows is an account of some of our time together. Full disclosure: My brother, Ryan, took photos 19, 21 and 24. Thanks Ryan.

Poverty in Cleveland suburbs
